Therapeutic Massage

Program Overview

Start your journey toward a rewarding career helping others feel better and live healthier. The Therapeutic Massage program at Johnston Community College teaches you how to promote wellness through the art and science of massage. You’ll gain hands-on experience in a supportive learning environment as you prepare to become a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist (LMBT) in North Carolina.

After completing Massage I and Massage II, you’ll be eligible to take the Massage & Bodywork Licensure Exam (MBLEx) and apply for your state license.
