National Association for Community College Entreprenuership (NACCE) and the Everyday Entrepreneur Program
This program supports JCC’s Small Business Center by providing funding to help SBC clients take their business from idea to thriving enterprise. The support from this program has provided a total of $1750 grant money awarded among three start-up businesses and $2500 to the winner of the Launch JoCo pitch competition.

Funding from this partnership brings the power of entrepreneurial thinking to everyone through the deployment of the Ice House Entreprenuership Program.
A 2026 grant from NC IDEA will provide start-up funds to winners of a small business pitch competition.

Usually, this type of program costs hundreds of dollars (or more). But Digital Ready is 100% free. There’s no catch, no need to be a Verizon customer — just free learning.
