The Career and College Promise (CCP) is a dual enrollment program that allows eligible high school students in North Carolina the opportunity to pursue college courses (tuition free) while in high school. The Career and College Promise program accelerates completion of college certificates, diplomas, and associate degrees that lead to college transfer or provide entry-level job skills.
The Career and College Promise program is designed for students who are college-ready while in high school.
Only one application per student is allowed. Prior to starting your application, review our application information page.
Summer/Fall 2025 Application Cycle: January 20 - April 25, 2025
College Transfer Pathways are designed for eligible high school students who wish to begin earning college credits towards a baccalaureate. Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Workforce Continuing Education (WCE) Pathways are designed for students who wish to begin working toward the completion of a credential.
Following your acceptance to the Career & College Promise program, schedule an advising appointment for registration.
Career & College Promise students are allowed to take only courses within their approved pathway(s), and they also must follow limits on allowed credits and program-specific restrictions. Students who register for courses outside of their approved pathways will be dropped from those courses.
