Program Overview
You can earn your Fire Protection Technology degree 100 percent online at Johnston Community College. This program prepares you for careers in fire protection,
safety, and emergency services while giving you the flexibility to learn from home.
You can also earn short-term certificates in Fire Investigation or Fire Management to strengthen your skills in fire behavior, leadership, emergency response, and administration.
If you want hands-on experience, JCC also offers in-person Firefighter Training courses that teach core firefighting and rescue skills and help current firefighters
stay updated on safety standards.
