Career Opportunities

After passing the MSCE, your career path depends on your experience:

  • If you have less than 200 hours of scribe experience, you can earn the Apprentice Medical Scribe (AMSP) credential.

  • If you have 200 or more hours of experience, you can earn the Certified Medical Scribe Professional (CMSP) credential.

  • Once you reach 200 hours, you can upgrade from AMSP to CMSP by submitting verification from your supervisor.
