Basic Life Support (BLS) – Initial Provider

This instructor-led classroom course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. In addition, this course covers the relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants. All students are required to have access to a provider manual. Prerequisite: None
Dates: 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month.
Time: 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
