Criminal Justice Technology
Program Overview
Our Criminal Justice Technology curriculum program offers you the chance to learn about local, state, and federal law enforcement, court systems, corrections, and security services. Our instructors bring current or prior law enforcement experience in the criminal justice field, paired with advanced college degrees. We offer students the flexibility of blended courses or fully online classes.
For those who have completed the North Carolina Basic Law Enforcement Training after 2000, we offer nineteen (19) transfer credits toward the Associate in Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice Technology.
What You'll Learn
Emphasis is on criminal justice systems, criminology, juvenile justice, criminal and constitutional law, investigative principles, ethics, and community relations. Additional study may include issues and concepts of government, counseling, communications, computers, and technology.
