JCC recommends that a student’s first step is to apply for federal and state financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov. Alternative loans are recommended only as a last resort.

After your lender requests certification, JCC will certify your loan up to your cost of attendance minus other aid received.
JCC is not responsible for lender timelines or customer service.

Disbursements: For two-semester loans, funds are split in half per semester
Tuition, fees, and books may be charged against your loan if processed and approved before the payment deadlines.
Cancellation period: Federal law gives you 3 business days after receiving the Loan Consummation Disclosure Statement to cancel your private loan.
