The Emergency Support Fund is here to support you with timely, short-term financial assistance if you're facing an unexpected hardship that could impact your ability to stay enrolled. Whether you're dealing with a car repair, sudden housing issue, medical expense, or another unforeseen challenge, we’re here to help you stay on track.

You may be eligible to receive one-time emergency funding of up to $500 per academic year if you're experiencing an unforeseen financial crisis.

Who's Eligible:

You are eligible if you:

  • Are a Curriculum or Continuing Education student

  • Are enrolled in 6 or more credit hours

  • Have a GPA of 2.0 or higher

  • Have experienced an unanticipated financial emergency or hardship within the past 30 days of the current academic year

Covered Costs:

Funding may be used for:

  • Rent or utilities

  • Internet (if you attend online courses)

  • Car repairs

  • Childcare

  • Medical, dental, or vision needs

Not Covered:

The fund does not cover::

  • Technology purchases (laptops, phones, etc.)

  • Car or mortgage payments

  • Court fees or legal expenses

  • Clothing

  • Alcohol or non-essential purchases

How to Apply!

To apply, you’ll need to provide supporting documentation — such as a bill, invoice, or proof of job loss — that clearly shows the nature and date of your emergency.

All documents must be submitted through the online application form.
