Truck Driver Training
Program Overview
The North Carolina Truck Driver Training School is the longest-running in the nation and has served as a model for truck driving
schools across the country.
The Truck Driver Training Program at Johnston Community College (JCC) offers the skills and certification you need to become a professional commercial
truck driver.
Applicants must:
- Have acceptable English Skills
- Be 18 Years of Age or Older
- Be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien
- Have a Valid NC Driver License
- Have a Current Class A Commercial Learner Permit.
- Pass the DOT Physical Test and receive a negative DOT Drug Test result.
In just eight weeks, you can earn your Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) and hit the road toward a successful career.
