Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Program Overview

The Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Program gives you the skills and training you need to become an MRI technologist. With hands-on training and expert instruction, you’ll gain the experience needed to work in hospitals, imaging centers, and other healthcare facilities.

Graduates of accredited programs may be eligible to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists' (ARRT) national examination for certification and registration as MRI technologists. Graduates may be employed in hospitals, outpatient clinics, physicians' offices, government agencies, and research.

This program is offered in collaboration with Edgecombe Community College and Johnston Community College. Applications to this program must be submitted to  Edgecombe Community College.
