Program Overview

The Geriatric Aide course is a 100-hour program that teaches you how to care for older adults who live in nursing homes, hospitals, or assisted living centers. You’ll learn about common health problems seniors face, such as memory loss, mobility issues, and chronic illnesses. You’ll also understand how to meet their emotional and social needs, which are just as important as their physical care.

The Home Care Aide course is a 116-hour program that prepares you to care for seniors in their own homes. You’ll learn how to help with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. This course also covers safety, communication, and personal care skills, so you can help clients stay comfortable and independent at home.
