Are you looking to boost your job prospects and enhance your career? At Johnston Community College, we offer Career Development and Employability Skills Training designed just for you.

Our Human Resources Development (HRD) courses are tailored for individuals who are unemployed, underemployed, or simply aiming to build and expand their job skills. We provide a range of workshops and activities focused on key areas employers value.

Registration Fee

Registration Fee: $75**

Unless otherwise noted, classes are held at the NC Works Career Center, 8998 US-70 Business, Clayton, NC 27520, on Thursdays, from 9:00 am-12:00pm.

Financial Assistance

Worried about costs? You may qualify for a registration fee waiver if you meet any of the following criteria:

• Unemployed
• Received a notice of pending layoff
• Eligible for Federal Earned Income Tax Credit (FEIT)
• Earning wages at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines
