Early Childhood Credential (NCECC)
Program Overview
The North Carolina Early Childhood Credential (NCECC) is required for Lead Teachers in licensed child care centers in North Carolina. Johnston Community College offers EDU-3119 Early Childhood Education – Intro as a continuing education option that meets coursework requirements for the credential.
Requirements
- Enroll within 6 months of hire as a lead teacher
- Complete requirements within 18 months
