JCC hosts Honors and Awards ceremony for graduates who displayed excellence in several categories

Johnston Community College (JCC) proudly announces the impressive results of recent Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) certification exams, facilitated in cooperation with the Stanly Community College Academy Support Center (ASC) for the Cisco Networking Regional Academy. The certification testing demonstrated remarkable success and underscores the commitment to excellence in technical education and support.

The CCST exams, including Networking, Cybersecurity, and IT Support certifications, were administered on May 21, 2025, at JCC under the facilitation of a remote proctor for the Stanly Community College ASC. This initiative was supported by a grant, showcasing a collaborative effort to advance technical skills and certifications within the community.

Overall, the total number of testing attempts was 32, with 30 total certifications achieved, reflecting an overall pass rate of 93.75%.

The achievement of these certifications signifies a significant milestone for students, marking their expertise and readiness to excel in the dynamic fields of networking, IT support, and cybersecurity.
