If you're taking curriculum classes to transfer to another college, or for personal
or professional growth without earning a degree, diploma, or certificate, you're considered
a special credit or visiting student.
Important Information
In addition to completeing all Admissions steps required for other applicants, Special Credit/Visiting Students should also have
the following information:
- Special Credit /Visiting Students do not qualify for financial aid.
- If you do not meet the course prerequisite by prior course work or other placement
testing, then you will be required to take a placement test before enrolling in the course.
Admissions will review your high school/college transcripts to determine if you need
to take the placement test and you will be notified of your next step through email.
- All curriculum programs require a certain level of English language proficiency. Students
who are deficient in English are encouraged to take courses in English as a Second
Language, which are offered through the college's Adult Basic Education department.
