MIG Welding
This course introduces inert gas-shielded welding methods (MIG). Topics include correct selection of consumable and non-consumable electrodes, equipment setup, safety, and welding techniques. Upon completion, students should be able to perform inert gas welding (MIG) in flat, horizontal, and overhead positions. This class is part of the Welding Fundamentals and Principles certificate.

TIG Welding
This course introduces inert gas-shielded welding methods (TIG). Topics include correct selection of consumable and non-consumable electrodes, equipment setup, safety, and welding techniques. Upon completion, students should be able to perform inert gas welding (TIG) in flat, horizontal, and overhead positions. This class fulfills the requirements of the Welding Fundamentals and Principles certificate. WLD 3106 51P MIG Welding is a prerequisite for this class.
