Massage Therapy Training - Curriculum

Once successfully completing your coursework (sequentially), you will be able to sit for the Massage & Bodywork Licensure Exam (MBLEX). With your JCC Diploma and a PASS score on the MBLEX, you may apply for a North Carolina license.

Requirements

• Follow the Admission Policy 2024 - 25 (PDF) 
• Complete a JCC Application
• Send High School and College Transcripts
• Complete a Massage Program Application - submit below

• The following documents are required at the time of program application and emailed to the address on the form. 
• Two (2) Moral Character References (PDF)
• Demonstrate satisfactory proof of proficiency in the English language.
• Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) Scores: minimum acceptable TOEFL score is 550 (5-year limit on scores).
• If you graduated from a high school in the United States TOEFL scores are not required. 
• Or attend the course English as a Second Language (ESL) 
• Attend the Mandatory Orientation session
