This one-day course is designed for you, if you are a currently certified BLS provider, to become a certified American Heart Association BLS course instructor. The purpose of a BLS Instructor Course is to develop proficiency in teaching, organizing, coordinating and conducting Healthcare Provider and Heartsaver Courses.

Prerequisite: Instructor candidate MUST contact Mark Holloman, AHA Coordinator, to receive a detailed list of prerequisites and supplies needed for the course at kmholloman@johnstoncc.edu.Preregistration is required.

Registration fee: $306.50 includes course and equipment fee. This is not a fee waived course.

 Additional: Instructor card fee of $6.00 will be required once all phrases of the instructor training is completed if you’re aligned with the Johnston Community College AHA Training Center.
