Students can choose several options to obtain this recognition as well as receive their degree credentials. Review options under Program Information. In addition, industry-level IT certifications are highly recommended after completing certificate-related courses.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
Students will spend an average of 900 hours with hands-on skills-based training while in the Information Technology Degree with Cybersecurity Concentration (A25590CS) program.
Cybersecurity is a concentration under the Information Technology program. Under the Cybersecurity Concentration (degree), there are two Cybersecurity certificates available to students.
This curriculum provides individuals with the skills to recognize threats and to mitigate them using information security control methods.
The program incorporates the competencies of industry-recognized certification exams and the hands-on components to comprehend advanced topics. Graduates qualify for employment in entry-level businesses and agencies that utilize computer systems as well as those entities that analyze data for threats.
