Honors Experience Agreement

Thank you for deciding to complete an Honors Experience!  This is your Honors Experience Agreement Form.

These are some guiding principles between mentor and student to consider before proceeding:

  • The mentor and student will be at meetings on time and prepared to discuss your project.  Both will respond in a timely manner.
  • This is the student's project and is not for a grade; therefore, it is the student's responsibility to be proactive, on time, and to lead the experience.
  • There are 3 required components: The Project Proposal, The Virtual Presentation, and The Honors Showcase 
  • Participants are to do an original project, which they will outline and discuss in the Project Proposal 
  • If a student can no longer participate, it is the student's responsibility to tell the mentor as soon as possible.
  • The Honors Mentor may excuse a student at any time for non-compliance.  Any student who is dismissed from the Honors Experience during the semester will not be allowed to participate the following semester.
