Johnston Community College’s associate degree nursing program has been named the fourth best program in North Carolina, according to Registered Nursing.org.

JCC was chosen based on its high NCLEX-RN pass rate by graduates of the program. Registered Nursing.org analyzed the 82 RN programs in North Carolina and ranked the top 30 programs based on current and historical licensure pass rates.

JCC’s 2018 NCLEX-RN first time pass rate was 99 percent. JCC’s NCLEX pass rate is 99 percent over the past three years (2018, 2017, 2016). The state average for three years is 83 percent.

In addition to the associate degree nursing program, nursing students at JCC can also consider the RN to Bachelor of Science Nursing Program, which allows them to move from the community college to public universities and obtain their bachelor’s degree.
