Johnston Community College's Evening for Education will be held Thursday, May 12 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Johnston County Agricultural Building.
This year's fundraiser will honor longtime College supporters Ayden and Betty Lee of Clayton. Ayden Lee served nine years as a Foundation Board Director from 2001 to 2010. During this time, JCC Foundation saw tremendous growth, including the addition of many scholarship endowments, two of which were personally established by the Lees.
Evening for Education is an annual fundraising event used to help provide support to student scholarships, faculty and staff programs, and other college needs. To help kickoff the giving for this event, Dr. and Mrs. Eric Janis have issued a $25,000 challenge gift.
Tickets to this event may be purchased for $50. Other contribution levels range from $20,000 to $250. To register, or view additional ways you can give, please visit https://28470.thankyou4caring.org/sslpage.aspx?pid=300 or call the Foundation Office at (919) 209-2222.
