Berry Plastics is JCC’s 2016 Top Business Partner

Berry Plastics was selected for the honor based on its continued commitment to education. The manufacturer of plastic packaging has participated in four customized training projects since 2009, offered internships to JCC engineering students, and supported 115 hours of training through JCC for some 100 of its employees.

“Their commitment to people and their development is what makes Berry a leader in people development and such a strong partner with JCC and our greater community,” said Joy Callahan, JCC dean of economic and workforce development.

The company’s world headquarters is located in Evansville, Ind. with net sales of $6.5 billion in fiscal 2016.
