JCC Welcomes ITT Tech Students

Published: October 5, 2016

Student services and instruction staff ready to assist students with an educational plan.

Johnston Community College is here to help students displaced by the recent closure of ITT Technical Institute achieve their educational goals.

JCC registrar, financial aid, and instruction staff are available to review and evaluate student transcripts to see if any courses transfer. They are also able to discuss programs of study at JCC that align with those taught at ITT Tech, such as information technology, and assist with financial aid applications.

JCC is currently accepting applications for the spring semester, and students can apply online at http://www.johnstoncc.edu. Students can also view JCC's catalog of programs of study at http://www.johnstoncc.edu/studentresources/collegecatalog/index.aspx to see if other programs are of interest.

Advising for the spring semester begins Oct. 17 and registration for classes opens Nov. 1.

For questions, please contact the Registrar's Office at (919) 209-2017 and (919) 209-2233.

JCC is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award the associate degree, certificate, and diploma.
