16 Earn BLET Certification from JCC

bletfall2016Program is currently registering students for August 2017.

Sixteen students graduated from Johnston Community College's Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program on Dec. 9.

The 17-week certification program is designed to give students essential skills required for entry-level employment as law enforcement officers with state, county, or municipal governments with private enterprise.

The following students earned their BLET certification: Sarah Kurtz of Clayton; Hailey Beasley of Four Oaks; Stephanie Williams of Smithfield; Nicholas Kurkowski of Benson; Corey Villnave of Dunn; Eric Brenegan of Clayton; Kevin Letarte of Coats; Dario Alvarado of Erwin; William Beasley of Four Oaks; Dana Murray of Holly Springs; Maurice Lipscomb, Jr. of Yanceyville; Quinton Rhue of Princeton; Reggie Griffin of Fuquay-Varina; Joshua McNeill of Dunn; Nathan Stewart of Wilson's Mills; Stephen Long of Garner
