In celebration of 10 years of success, the Johnston County Workforce Development Center is offering several learning sessions and events in the fall and spring geared to a variety of audiences. All events are being held at the center located at 135 Best Wood Drive, Clayton and most are free unless otherwise noted. Please join us as we celebrate!

A lively and interactive discussion of what's possible in local finance, local fuel, local food and more - will be the focus as Carol Peppe Hewitt, author of Financing Our Foodshed: Growing Local Food with Slow Money, and Lyle Estill, creator of Piedmont BioFuels, is the author of five books on biodiesel and activism, and a local investing entrepreneur. Carol & Lyle will engage us in a conversation about all things local: from food to fuel to finance to friendship. They have great stories to share.
