The award is given by the North Carolina Society of Radiologic Technologists to an imaging professional who demonstrates integrity, commitment to patients, families and colleagues, and promotes and advances the imaging profession.
Beasley was nominated for the award by a fellow instructor based on her professionalism, positive attitude, and her dedication to students.
"Stephanie is compassionate about her students and our radiography program at Johnston Community College," said Ann Jackson, director of imaging programs. "Her hard work and dedication are evident by being nominated by one of her fellow faculty members for this award."
A radiography instructor at JCC for 12 years, Beasley earned her associate's degree from JCC and her bachelor of science in health arts and her master of science in health services administration from the University of St. Francis.
