19 Earn BLET Certification from JCC

Nineteen students graduated from Johnston Community College's Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) program on May 13.

The 17-week certification program is designed to give students essential skills required for entry-level employment as law enforcement officers with state, county, or municipal governments with private enterprise.

The following students earned their BLET certification: Aurora Wilson-Mayo of Clayton; Drake Benson of Four Oaks; Lindy Macon of Erwin; Joshua Starkey of Benson; Patrick Lee of Clayton; Dylan Bowen of Micro; Britney Smith of Smithfield; Haydn Orr of Wilson's Mills; Zachary Knight of Angier; Kaleb Smith of Clayton; Alec Tremblay of Selma; Brandan Knudtson of Selma; Dario Aguilar of Smithfield; Zayne Trent of Benson; Jeffrey Taylor of Garner; Christopher Southerland of Wilsons Mills; Jason Brown of Kenly; Zachary Stanley of Wilson's Mills; and Scott Winberry of Clayton.
