In October, Katie Lovin, math instructor, and Christina Wall, admissions coordinator, were selected for their outstanding work.

Katie Lovin
Title: Math Instructor

Education: B.A. in Physics from Elon University and Ph.D. in Math from N.C. State
Family: Married to Mark Lovin for 6 years. We have two kids – Cole, 4, and Daisy, 1.
Community of residence: Clayton
What do you like to do in your spare time?: Aside from playing with the kids, I love to read, knit, scrapbook, make jewelry, and piece quilts.
Favorite TV show: Castle
If you could invite one person to dinner, who would it be?: Nathan Fillion
What do you like most about your job and working at JCC?: I've always wanted to teach, and I love working with students. I especially love having small classes so that I get to know my students better and can better serve their needs.
