Upon completion, students should be able to perform basic supervised dispensing techniques in a variety of pharmacy settings. This course leads to credentialing. After completion of the course with a satisfactory grade, age 18 years old, and a high school diploma or equivalent, students apply to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) Examination. Some states still require their state exam for reciprocity, so it is suggested a student check with the state in question before taking the program.
