On Site Programs

Howell Woods offers educational programs throughout the year, following the seasonal diversity of Eastern North Carolina. Canoe the Neuse, spotlight owls throughout our Night Safari, or learn to build your very own backyard wildlife sanctuary. Our programs vary throughout the following three topics: wildlife education, conservation efforts, and recreational activities. Private programs are encouraged, but are limited to topics relevant to Eastern North Carolina and of which the staff has the proper level of knowledge.
