ECU Pirate Promise & How to Apply
AHOY! The ECU Pirate Promise transfer program is for students who are in their first year of coursework. The program provides advising assistance and support before applying to ECU, as well as guaranteed admission and a waived application fee. To be eligible, a student must be enrolled in an Early College, Career and College Promise Program, or be in their first year of community college enrollment pursuing an eligible degree (examples include AA, AE, AFA, ADN, AS, AAS Early Childhood Education, and certain AAS technical programs).
Program Requirements
- Applicants can be high school juniors, seniors or full-time student Johnston Community College student in your first year.
- Be enrolled in an associate degree program (approved AA, AE, AFA, ADN, AS, AAS Early Childhood Education, or certain AAS technical programs)
- To retain eligibility, students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5.
