The Johnston Community College Employee Campaign is an annual fundraising effort that provides all JCC employees and retirees an opportunity to directly support the College.

Why should I give?

Your contribution is an investment in yourself as an employee of JCC.  Your support also demonstrates your confidence in Johnston Community College. Your gift will allow us to stand together as “one college” to create “endless opportunities” for everyone that will benefit from your support.

I don’t have much to give. How can my small contribution make a difference? 

Every gift and every donor makes a difference here at JCC.  What is important is that you give, and not necessarily the amount you give. With each of us doing what we can, collectively, we all can make a big difference. 

Can I decide how I want my gift to be used?

Yes.  In addition to the Investing in Bright Futures Annual Fund that supports the greatest needs on campus, there are many academic units, programs, scholarships and funds to choose from when deciding what it is that you want to support at JCC. Contact the Foundation office at (919) 209-2222 to find how your interests align with areas you can impact.

Can I designate my gift to support more than one area?

Yes. Be sure to indicate all the areas you wish to support on the gift form.

I am also an alumna/alumnus of JCC. Will my contribution in the Employee Campaign count as my membership gift to join the JCC Alumni Association?

Yes. If you have ever completed a curriculum or professional development course at JCC, your gift of $10 of more in the Employee Campaign will make you eligible to join the JCC Alumni Association. Visit to learn more.

What if my spouse works for a matching gift company?

If your spouse works for a matching gift company, your gift to JCC may be doubled or even tripled.  Check with the company's Human Resources Department to request matching gift information.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes, to the extent allowable by law.  Once your gift has been processed, you will receive a receipt verifying the tax deductibility of your gift.
