Wastewater Treatment Operator I & II - 60 hours
This course is designed to provide the individual with a general knowledge of the operation of wastewater treatment systems, laws and regulations related to wastewater treatment systems operation, equipment usually employed in such plants, and general maintenance requirements for such equipment. It is also designed to assist the individual in preparation for the North Carolina Water Pollution Control System Operators Certification Commission (WPCSOCC) Examination.

Wastewater Treatment Operator CE - 6 hours
This course examines the operations, laboratory, rules, regulations and record keeping of Biological Wastewater Operations. Course work covers the following topics: Effects of untreated wastewater on the environment, troubleshooting, activated sludge, and NCDENR-DWQ rules and regulations. It meets the continuing education requirements of the NC Water Pollution Control System Operators Certification Commission.
