Sewing: Sew Ezee - Sewing Basics

In this 6-week beginner sewing class, participants will learn the basics of a life skill that can be used for themselves or professionally. Students will learn how to use a sewing machine, identify the purpose of tools used in sewing, how to read a pattern, sewing terminology and construction of projects such as an apron, pot holders, pillow covers, placemats and pajama pants.

Class objectives include:
  • Identify and understand the parts of a sewing machine.
  • Describe the basics of sewing as well as sewing terms.
  • Know the use of sewing tools.
  • Demonstrate proper pattern layout.
  • Create a variety of sewing projects.
  • Registration Fees: $125

Classes will be held at the Cleveland Campus at 9046 Cleveland Rd. Clayton, NC 27520.
