eNotary
Requirements for the online e-Notary class:
- To be eligible for an e-Notary class
- you must be a current North Carolina Notary Public (in good standing) with the NC Secretary of State.
- If you are unsure about your Notary Public standing, please contact the NC Secretary of State Notary Division (919-807-2219) BEFORE registering for an e-Notary class.
- you must be a current North Carolina Notary Public (in good standing) with the NC Secretary of State.
- Attendees will need: Basic computer skills, a reliable internet connection, a web camera, a microphone, an updated operating system, as well as a learning environment that is free from distractions and interruptions.
Prior to the start date of class:
- Approximately one-week prior to your class start date you will receive a Welcome Letter (sent to the email address provided during registration) from Melissa Vandemark, email her at mavandemark@johnstoncc.edu, to receive your JCC username.
- Important class information will be provided in your Welcome Letter. Please read the Welcome Letter when it arrives via email!
- Email a scanned copy of a valid, non-expired government issued photo ID to your instructor Ms. Sayers at risayers@johnstoncc.edu
- Download Respondus Lockdown browser. The information is provided in your Welcome Letter.
Please note:
- Students must register and pay at least five calendar days PRIOR to the class start date. Check the Registration Deadline listed below.
- Registration fee ($90) does not include the e-Notary manual.
- Per JCC policy self-supporting (SEF course code) classes are not eligible for a refund as these classes are funded by registration fees collected.
- Class is held online, 8:00 am-12:00 pm on the Mondays listed below.
