In the Garden: The Basics

This 6-week course encompasses the basics of ornamental horticulture. Areas of subject include soils, plant growth and development, plant management, and selecting pollinators. This class has a mixture of hands-on work as well as class work. Students will receive a basic understanding of horticulture and the relationship between flowers and pollination. 

  • Class will meet at the JCC Arboretum (L350) for class.

Per JCC policy, Community Programs are offered as self-supporting courses and are not eligible for a refund as these programs are funded by registration fees collected. Students are eligible for a 100% refund if the class is canceled by the College.
