- Basic knowledge of the computer
- Must have technical ability to use electronic meters and testing equipment.

- Must be able to read and interpret wiring diagrams, meters, gauges, manifolds, and

- Able to use sensory cues to maintain standards of quality electrical

- Have awareness of surroundings through use of senses

- Able to tolerate extreme and constant noise
- Sufficient auditory skills to hear equipment running/operating to determine efficiency
of operation.
- Sufficient auditory skills to hear tones of various pitches emitted by testers and
meters.

- Survey and select appropriate materials, tools, and equipment for electrical work

- Distinguish shapes, forms, and patterns and visualize three-dimensional objects
- Have sufficient visual capacity to read prints, schematics, meters and testers.
