JCC Britt BuildingWilliam R. Britt Advanced Technology Center

Named for the late William R. (Billy) Britt, a Smithfield attorney and longtime member of the College’s Board of Trustees and member of the North Carolina Legislature, the William R. Britt Advanced Technology Center opened in the fall of 2004.

The 28,000-square-foot facility houses several Applied Industrial Technology programs including welding, machining technology, and air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration technology. The building also includes faculty offices and a welding lab, and machine shop for student use.
