How Do I Become a Tutor?
Peer Tutor Qualifications
- Complete a peer tutor application
- Complete a JCC Employment Application
- Provide official transcripts
- Have earned a "B" or higher in courses they wish to tutor
- Have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Have earned at least 12 credit hours
- Once hired, complete Online JCC New Employee Orientation
Professional Tutor Qualifications
- Complete a professional tutor application
- Complete a JCC Employment Application
- Have an earned degree in related coursework
- Have past tutoring or education experience
- Provide resume and official transcripts
- Once hired, complete Online JCC New Employee Orientation
