Disability Services
Through the disability services office, JCC students with special health conditions, disabilities, or limitations can receive academic support. Services are provided for students who qualify under IDEA or Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Acts of 1973.The goal is to ensure all qualified students receive accommodations to help them to be successful. Students seeking accommodations must initiate contact with the disability services coordinator at least 30-days prior to the beginning of classes.
The student must provide documentation verifying the disability. While it is the student’s responsibility to request his or her accommodations, the Disability Services coordinator will serve as the contact in making sure the student is treated fairly.
