Important Dates and Information for Students
for Summer and Fall 2019 Semesters

Student Services Information


New students who plan to enter a degree, diploma, or certificate program should complete and submit a JCC application. In order to provide time for the processing of application materials and any additional documents prior to the start of classes, priority dates are identified for each semester. The college will continue to process paperwork after the priority application deadline. However, the closer we get to the start of the semester placement testing slots and admissions interview times are limited. Please do not delay in submitting your application and paperwork.


 Business Office Information

Self-pay student refunds for the Summer semester will be disbursed May 30. Financial aid refunds will begin to go out June 13. Please be sure to go to BankMobile.com to set up your refund preference.

2019 Fall Registration is happening now! Payments will not be accepted until July 3. You must pay in full, set up a payment plan, or have secured financial aid by July 26 to avoid deregistration.

2019 Fall registration and payments deadline is August 12.

To make a payment or sign-up for a payment plan, log into WebAdvisor, go to Financial Information, and then click on the Student Finance Self Service link.  Find the appropriate link under Student Finance or by clicking on the building icon on the left.

Last day to drop for a 100% refund for the Fall semester is August 14.

 NOTE: If you do not pay or set up a payment plan on time, your courses will be dropped. Visit the Tuition, Fees, and Expenses web page for more information.


All curriculum refunds are disbursed by BankMobile. New students should begin receiving their Refund Selection Kit in the mail the first week of the semester. Please do not throw away this important kit since it is your ticket to a faster refund.


Once you receive your Refund selection Kit,
go to RefundSelection.com , enter the unique Personal Code and select a refund option.


There are three refund options:

ACH Deposit (funds will be available one to two days after the refund date),
BankMobile Vibe Account (funds will be available on the same (refund) date), and
Check (funds will arrive in the mail five to seven days after the refund date).
