Student Ambassador Program

*APPLICATIONS OPEN JANUARY 5, 2012*

For more than 10 years now the College Foundation at Johnston Community College has funded fifteen annual scholarships to students who have shown potential to be leaders on campus. The Student Ambassadors at JCC are involved in a variety of activities both on campus and in the community. Some of these activities include community service such as Habitat For Humanity, assisting with on campus registration, graduation ceremonies and various fund raisers for the college. The fifteen auspicious recipients network and acquire relationships with faculty, staff and fellow students that last a lifetime. Each Student Ambassador commits themselves to one full year of service to JCC and attends a summer training session to help with teamwork, communication and character building.
