Real Estate Elective "If You Were the Judge…" (4 Hours) SS*
A real estate elective course designed to understand the legal ramifications of real property contract law as determined by the courts of our land.
This is an “active” course, each participant is
required to actively engage in discussion, analysis and determination of findings of real estate and related court cases.

Real Estate Post Licensing Selected Topics
This course is one of the three 30-hour courses designed to assist the provisional broker to meet the 90-hour post-licensing education requirement set by the NC Real Estate Commission.
Topics include a review of agency relationships in real estate sales transactions and a real estate agent’s legal duties to clients and customers, a step-by-step review and discussion of the functions and responsibilities of a real estate agent when working with residential sellers and buyers, a review of issues associated with agent compensation and agents changing firms, and a review of license status and education issues.

Real Estate Post Licensing: Broker Relationships and Responsibilities
The primary objective of these post-licensing
courses is to provide instruction at a level
beyond that provided in pre-licensing courses
on topics deemed to be of special importance
to licensees.
In order for a license to remain eligible for active status, the provisional broker must complete at least one 30-hour post-licensing course on or before his or her first anniversary date of licensure.
The provisional broker must further complete a second and third post-licensing course on or before the second and third respective anniversary dates of licensure in order to retain the eligibility for “active” license status.
Please note that post-licensing education requirements are in addition to continuing education requirements.

Real Estate Pre Licensing Course
This 81-hour course provides the required
training for becoming a broker in North Carolina.
This class is approved by the NC Real Estate
Commission for licensure. Students must pass
a required exam with 80% to successfully
complete the course.
Prerequisite for enrollment:
Participants will be required to obtain a Career Readiness certificate to be eligible to enroll in this course.
This requirement can be completed by taking the three ACT WorkKeys Assessment tests for the three subject areas listed below.

Level 4 Locating Information

You can also purchase a practice test
for $5.00 each.
A fee of $10.00 per assessment is due at the
time of testing.
This prerequisite will help you prepare for the successful completion of the state Real Estate Licensing exam.
If additional study is needed, a program of pre- and post- training is available through the Career Readiness Certificate (CRC) Test Prep class. It is our desire that all students have successful completion of their goals.
