Online Class Schedule

Firefighter I & II Certification classes Online beginning January 4th. All classes are Firefighter I & II Combo classes, with the exception of Hazardous Materials. See schedule below for classes and registration deadlines. All students must be registered and submit an affiliation letter, on departmental letterhead with the Chief's signature by the deadline listed for fee exemption. No agency outside of the state of North Carolina can be fee exempt. All students must report to the Johnston Community College, Public Safety Services Complex on the dates listed for practical and written testing. Exceptions to test dates will be considered only in extreme emergencies and/or medical situations beyond the student’s control. Note: Testing times may change due to the number of students testing. Notification of time changes will be posted on Blackboard. Testing will start promptly at the time listed. If you are late for testing you may not be allowed to test.
