Night Fire Academy

Classes will be held from 7pm until 10pm each night as listed, in the Public Safety Service Complex, room J1230 on the Fire Service hallway.

All students MUST have a copy of one of the following texts:

1. Fundamentals of Fire Fighter Skills, Second Edition by Jones and Bartlett
2. Firefighter's Handbook: Firefighting and Emergency Response, Third Edition by Delmar
3. Essentials of Firefighting, Fifth Edition by IFSTA

Registration will be the on the first night of class and all students must register on the first night. No student can miss more than 20% of any class and receive full credit, NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. All students who are not affiliated with a department in Johnston County must have an affiliation letter, on Dept. letterhead with their Chiefs’ Signature and contact number.

Students who are still in High School MUST present a completed and signed Dual Enrolment form to the instructor by the end of the first class attended, or they will be dropped from the roster.
