Johnston Community College - Transport Technology Building

Constructed in 1982, the 16,000-square-foot Transport Technology Building is home to the North Carolina Truck Driver Training School, the oldest and most successful truck driver training school in the United States.

In addition to classrooms and office space for the Truck Driver Training program, the building, which most recently underwent renovation in 2005, also includes classrooms and labs for the Heavy Equipment and Transport Technology program. There is also a truck driver training area behind the Transport Technology Building.

The Transport Technology Building (I) is located at the southern portion of the campus, next to the Britt Building. Parking is available off College Road in the "C" parking lot.
