The Kenly Outreach Center

The 7,000 square-foot building was completed in 1995 as a community educational facility, funded through the Johnston County Board of Commissioners to provide an educational and training resource for the western portion of Johnston County.

Directions to the Kenly Center:

From I-95 North in Smithfield

Take the Kenly Exit 107 and turn onto Highway 301 North. At the second stoplight, turn right onto Second Street which is the main street through Kenly and is also Highway 222. Continue to travel through town across the railroad track. Turn right onto College Avenue which is the third street on the right. Continue to travel down College Avenue until you see the former site of Glendale Kenly Elementary School on the left.

The Kenly Center is located between the school and the ball field on the left.

From Smithfield via I-95:

Take I-95 South to Exit 79 and exit. Turn right at the stop light at the end of the exit. this is NC HWY50/Main Street and go two blocks west to South Lee Street. turn left on South Lee Street going south for three blocks. The Benson Center is on the right in the 300 South Lee Street Block.

From Smithfield via 301:

Take US 301 south to Benson. Proceed to second stop light at intersection of US 301 and NC HWY 50/Main Street and turn left going east on NC HWY50/Main Street for five blocks then turn right on south Lee Street and travel three blocks. Benson Center is on the right in the 300 south Lee Street block.

From Meadow via NC HWY 50:

Proceed west on NC HWY 50/Main Street into Benson. Cross over I-95 on the Earl Creech Jr. Bridge and go two blocks west to South Lee Street. turn left on South Lee Street going south for three blocks. Benson Center is on the right in the 300 south Lee Street Block.

From Coats via NC HWY 27:

Proceed east on NC HWY 27 into benson. NC HWY 27 joins and becomes NC HWY 50/Main Street. go through downtown benson. Cross over the CSX railroad and go four blocks, then turn right on south Lee Street and travel three blocks. Benson Center is on the rigt in the 300 South Lee Street Block.

From McGee's Crossroads via NC HWY 50:

Proceed South on NC HWY 50 to Benson. At the stop sign turn left onto NC HWY 50/Main Street. Go through down Benson. Cross over the CSX railroad and go four block, then turn right on South Lee Street and travel three blocks. Benson Center is on the right in the 300 south Lee Street Block.

From 40/42 Exit 312 via I-40:

Proceed south on I-40 to Exit 328 at I-95. Go south on I-95 to Exit 79 and exit. Turn right at stop light at end of the exit. From Dunn via I-95:

From Dunn via US 301:
