Full Time Director of Web Services & Online Marketing
Provides administrative direction, organization, and professional support for Web Services inclusive of the College Web site, while also providing leadership with regard to strategic initiatives for online marketing of the College and the College Foundation. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in information science, communications, learning resources and/or educational technology. Three years experience in designing, developing, and managing Web sites including scripting and programming. Proficiency with Front Page and/or Dreamweaver for Web design; HTML, ASP, JavaScript, CSS and Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop; and Microsoft Word. Preferred Requirements: Masters Degree in information science, library, marketing, education or related discipline. Experience in internet use, research and applications, and in direct marketing. Microsoft Excel, Access and PowerPoint; SQL Database; Flash Deadline: Applications will be accepted through May 20, 2008.
Full Time Early College Academy Liaison
This positions duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to being responsible for the collaborative development of curriculum, schedules, and policies for Learn and Earn partnerships with Johnston Community College and Johnston county Schools including but not limited to Johnston County Early College Academy. Minimum Requirements: Master’s Degree with 18 graduate hours in a curriculum area. One to three years post secondary experience in teaching or in student services related field with Knowledge of community college curriculum and North Carolina innovative high school projects. Deadline: accepting applications through May 15, 2008.
Full Time Paramedic Instructor/AHA Coordinator
The primary responsibility of the Paramedic Instructor would be the instruction and coordination of the paramedic curriculum to the NCOEMS and National DOT standard of 596 didactic hours per year. Roles of the lead instructor will include documentation, exam oversight and articulation/recruitment with pre-requisite EMT and Intermediate courses. Major Job duties include but are not limited to coordinating with co-instructors and clinical instructors, instruction and documentation of paramedic student performance, assist in the development and implementation of curriculum compliant with OEMS requirements, and coordination and participation with initial certification courses. Minimum Requirements: Associate Degree in related field with Certified Level II Instructor/Coordinator at the paramedic level, Current Paramedic certifications to function in Johnston County, Current Preceptor privileges in Johnston County at the Paramedic Level, and Approval at the required level by the Johnston County Oral Boards Committee. Three years teaching experience and five years EMS. Preferred Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree and five years teaching experience. ACLS/PALS/CPR Instructor certified; PHTLS Instructor certified. Deadline: accepting applications through May 12, 2008.
Full Time Nursing Instructor
This positions duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to providing safe and efficient instruction of students assigned to patients in a cooperating health service agency and to assume responsibilities related to the total nursing program. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor Degree with a minimum of two calendar years of full time nursing employment in a clinical nursing facility as a Registered Nurse. Preferred Requirements: Masters Degree with teaching experience. Certifications/Licensures Required: Current unrestricted license as a registered nurse in North Carolina. Deadline: accepting applications through May 8, 2008.
Full Time Evening/Weekend Nursing Instructor
This positions duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to providing safe and efficient instruction of students assigned to patients in a cooperating health service agency and to assume responsibilities related to the total nursing program.
